Program Description: Transitions is a prevention program consisting of 12 highly interactive classroom sessions provided in participating high schools. The goal of the program is to prevent and intervene early in the progression of school failure, behavioral problems, violence, and high risk behaviors among at-risk students. Other program components include follow-up classroom sessions for students and parent education groups.
Eligibility: Students transitioning into 9th grade and their parents in participating school districts
Language(s): English,Spanish, Farsi and Vietnamese
Hours of Operation: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Monday-Friday
