The Cultural Competency & Multi-Ethnic Services program will work towards developing a training program to meet training needs for the Agency support staff, professionals and administrators.
In this capacity, we seek to develop and increase participants' sensitivity and awareness of multi-cultural issues with specialized training considerations given to the development of meeting the tailored needs of mental health professionals and their consumers.

Equipping or refining participants' core skills for work with multi-cultural populations.

Provide training with the fundamentals of cross-cultural issues in mental health.

Emphasis
Provide training in the County's threshold languages: Spanish and Vietnamese.
