Mental Health Services Act (MHSA)

Vision

Through community partnerships, create a client and family-driven, recovery and resiliency-oriented publicly-funded mental health system in Orange County that meets the mental health needs of diverse populations.

Mission

To create a state-of the art, culturally competent public mental health system in Orange County that:

  • Promotes wellness/recovery for adults and older adults with severe mental illness;

  • Promotes resiliency for children with serious emotional disorders and their families/caregivers;

  • Is easy to access;

  • Offers effective services;

  • Reduces disparities in access to services

  • Minimizes out-of-home and institutional care; and

  • Reduces stigma toward those with severe mental illness or serious emotional disorders.
