Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH)

The MCAH Health Education unit is under the Division of Health Promotion working in collaboration with the Maternal, Child & Adolescent Health Programs to develop, implement, and evaluate community based marketing, outreach and education programs on:

  • Child health preventive services
  • Childhood lead poisoning prevention
  • Family planning and reproductive services for women, men, and teens

The MCAH Health Education Department has a variety of services available to assist schools, community based organizations, and other agencies. These services include:
