The California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) provides grant funding to support local government programs promoting used oil recycling. These programs provide public education on the environmental hazards of dumping used motor oil as well as promoting Certified Used Oil Collection Centers which will take the oil. Most local agencies are county or city government offices. |

| If you’re a Do-it-yourselfer and have used motor oil to get rid of, please take it to a Certified Used Oil Collection Center located within Orange County. All CIWMB certified used oil collection centers must take used oil from the public for free during normal business hours. You are probably already familiar with many of these centers, they're your local Kragen, Chief, Pep Boys, Jiffy Lube or one of over 200 other businesses in Orange County ready to serve you. |
