How can I get involved in local efforts to prevent tobacco use?

Join the Tobacco and Vape Free OC Coalition

What we do:

The Tobacco and Vape Free OC Coalition was founded in 1990 and is funded through the California Tobacco Control Program. The coalition’s mission is to reduce the use of tobacco and non-cessation nicotine (including electronic delivery systems) and to reduce exposure to secondhand smoke and vapor in Orange County, California. The coalition conducts tobacco prevention and cessation activities throughout Orange County in support of its mission.

How to get involved:

The coalition meets bi-monthly on the third Tuesday of odd months from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. via Zoom.

The coalition also has work groups in Anaheim, Garden Grove, Santa Ana and Westminster which collaborate on tobacco prevention and cessation needs in those four cities. The city work groups meet approximately every six weeks via Zoom.

Please contact us for more information on attending coalition and/or city work group meetings.
