We begin by reflecting on the State of Public Health in Orange County 2026 Address, which centers on this year’s theme: Resilience and Reinvention—Protecting Community Health in a Changing World. This message reflects the work happening across our agency and partners to modernize communication, strengthen collaboration, and enhance the tools that help us serve Orange County more effectively.
We’ve seen encouraging progress—including improvements in life expectancy and declining overdose deaths- while also confronting challenges such as increasing maternal morbidity, chronic disease burdens and communicable disease threats.
