Outcome data are a critical component of Emergency Medical Services and have been reported in Orange County since 1987 with the advent of the Hospital Discharge Data Report. The National EMS Information System (NEMSIS) has now formally defined a set of outcome data elements that are reportable via the OC-MEDS Hospital Hub. Outcome data is provided for all patients received through the 911 system.
