Services
The Office of Vital Records (OVR) serves as the Local Registrar for Orange County births and deaths, including out-of-hospital births. OVR issues certified copies of birth and death certificates and burial permits for the disposition of human remains.
Birth, Death, and Fetal Death Certificates

Burial Permits
Burial Permits can be applied for by the next of kin and purchased at this office where the death occurred in Orange County, or where the final resting place will be in Orange County. Please visit the Burial Permits for the General Public section for more information.

Parking
Park Tower Garage Parking
The Park Tower parking garage is located off Sycamore St.
Rates: $1.00 per 15 minutes or $4.00 per hour
OC Civic Center Parking

Metered Parking
There is metered parking located behind the Old Orange County Courthouse and along Sycamore St.
Rates: $0.25 per 10 mins or $1.50 per hour
