Red Ribbon Week is a campaign created to increase awareness about alcohol, and other drug prevention, as well as to kick-off a year of prevention that promotes drug-free lifestyles. Red Ribbon Week is traditionally celebrated the last week of October each year in schools and communities. Below are a list of resources and printable activities to help you plan a successful Red Ribbon Week and promote positive youth development throughout the year!

 | Family Day works with organizations to educate parents about how everyday activities, like sharing a meal or playing a game, can make a difference in the life of a child.  | Get tips and tools to help you improve your family dinners and meet your dinnertime goals from the Family Dinner Project, a non-profit that encourages family meals. Regular family meals are linked to higher grade-point averages, resilience and self-esteem in children. Also, family meals are linked to lower rates of substance abuse, teen pregnancy, eating disorders, and depression. |
