The SUD Perinatal Outpatient Treatment Program is a program designed to reduce or eliminate the use of alcohol and other drugs for substance using for pregnant and/or parenting women. This is a voluntary program that includes drug testing, gender-specific individual and group counseling, parenting classes, and regular attendance at self-help meetings (such as Narcotics Anonymous or Alcoholics Anonymous). Childcare services are available while the women are receiving counseling services. The SUD Perinatal Outpatient Treatment Program offers Outpatient Drug Free (ODF) and Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOT) levels of care. The length of time to is determined by each participant’s progress. Ongoing continuing care services will be available to all clients who successfully complete their course of treatment.
