Health and Wellness Tips from the Medical Doctors of the HCA

Welcome to the Health Corner! We’re pleased to feature the doctors of the OC Health Care Agency (HCA) who share insights and expertise on health and wellness matters that affect you and your family. As the County Health Officer, I’m grateful to lead and serve with this team of caring and committed professionals. Every month we’ll highlight information on current health issues or trends, and we’ll introduce our doctors who specialize in a variety of disciplines. We start with an overall assessment of health in Orange County (OC) which I presented in the first “State of Public Health in Orange County Address.” The overall message is “Safeguarding Public Health is Everyone’s Responsibility.” The webinar focused on health trends and priorities in OC; local challenges, initiatives and progress; opportunities to advance health in OC; and a vision for building healthier, more resilient communities.
