Child Abuse Services Team (CAST)
Program Description: Children and Youth Services County staff work with a team consisting of medical, social work, and legal staff to provide assessment and treatment to victims of sexual abuse.
Serving: Children & Youth referred by by child protective agencies.

Hours of Operation: 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday by appointment
Juvenile Recovery Court /Collaborative Court
Program Description: A collaboration between Children and Youth Services (CYS), Probation, the Collaborative Court Full Service Partnership and the Juvenile Court for youth who have committed substance use related offenses. CYS County staff provide assessments for mental health and substance use disorders as well as individual, collateral, and group therapy to address those disorders.

Clinical Evaluation and Guidance Unit / Probation (Juvenal Hall)
Program Description: Children and Youth Services County staff provide assessment and treatment services to youth during incarceration. This includes incarcerated youth in Juvenile Hall, the Youth Guidance Center, the Joplin Youth Center and the Youth Leadership Academy.

Continuing Care Placement Unit (CCPU) / Foster Youth
Program Description: Children and Youth Services County staff implement consultation, treatment and intensive case management for Social Services Agency youth in placement.

Youth Reporting Center (Probation)
Program Description: The Children and Youth Services Central is a Probation Department alternative to incarceration. This program provides school and behavioral health services for probation youth in the community who are assigned to the program. Children and Youth Behavioral Health provides the behavioral health services component to this collaboration with the Probation Department and the Orange County Department of Education.
Serves: Children & youth assigned to the program by Probation.

Short Term Residential Therapeutic Programs (STRTPs)
Parent Wellness Counseling Services (OCPPW)
Program Description: The Orange County Parent Wellness Program has been expanded to specialize in supporting families with children under the age of 18. This includes pregnant females and partners affected by the pregnant or birth of a child within the past 12 months, families that have been reported to Child Protective Services for allegations of child abuse or neglect or families with a young child between the ages of 0 and 8 years who are exhibiting behavioral symptoms that maybe negatively impacting their readiness for school. Services include screening and needs assessments of the family, clinical case management, individual counseling, family collateral services, parent education, psycho-educational support groups, referrals and linkages to community resources and community education on Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders.
