WIC Breastfeeding Support
WIC moms are encouraged to breastfeed.
WIC encourages breastfeeding and provides moms with several resources to help make breastfeeding successful. WIC assists moms by providing:
- Breastfeeding education and prenatal and postpartum support
- Individual breastfeeding counseling with handouts
- Access to electric and manual breast pumps
- Breastfeeding Helpline (714) 834-8363
- Breastfeeding friendly clinic settings
- Referrals to Lactation Consultants in the community
- Orange County Breastfeeding Resources
