Behavioral Health Services Act

(BHSA)

We Need Your Insight!

Provide guidance on public behavioral health programs by joining a Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) Workgroup.

BHSA will be hosting Behavioral Health Services and Support (BHSS), Full-Service Partnerships (FSP) and Housing Component Ad Hoc Workgroups. All Workgroups will be led by (2) Co-Chairs appointees, 1 Community Member and 1 HCA staff as approved by the Orange County Health Care Agency (HCA) Behavioral Health Services (BHS) Director, to provide organizational support, leadership, and subject matter expertise.

 Each of the Ad Hoc Groups will meet regularly to develop and review program ideas/improvements for BHSA target populations. Co-Chairs and group members may present recommendations at BHSA PAC meetings while focusing on requirements for each component under the new requirements of Proposition 1.
