Patient Access Application Programming Interface (API)

As part of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Interoperability and Patient Access Rule, Behavioral Health Services implemented a publicly available Patient Access API. This initiative empowers beneficiaries to take ownership of their health information and allows them to authorize its transmission to third-party applications.

API Description

The Patient Access API allows members to retrieve their personal health information using a third-party application of their choice. This API complies with the HL7 FHIR implementation guides listed below.

Oracle Health Millennium Platform

Oracle Health Millennium Platform provides APIs across the Oracle Health products built on top of the Millennium platform. These APIs allow you to use the HL7 FHIR standard in your SMART application.
