HCA Business Plan
The Health Care Agency Business Plan provides an overview of the many programs and services that are provided for children, adults, and seniors to improve the health of the community. The plan reflects the commitment of the Health Care Agency to actively measure outcomes as a way to overcome past challenges and build a solid foundation for the future.
HCA Volunteer Services
The Health Care Agency (HCA) is a large and dynamic public agency, comprised of approximately 2,600 employees who are responsible for providing a wide range of services to protect and promote the health of the Orange County community.
Each year approximately 650 unpaid interns and volunteers are screened and placed in assignments throughout the Agency. Placements are highly individualized, based on a person's interest, skill level and supervision requirements. Internship and volunteer placements are available in specific areas of HCA such as: Public Health Services, Behavioral Health Services, Medical Health Services, and Financial and Administrative Services.
